Wigton Nursery and Infant School is a happy an inclusive school, where we hold high aspirations and expectations for all our pupils regardless of starting point and any disadvantage.

Our school is well-resourced and sits on a large site, providing plenty of opportunities for enrichment within our curriculum and beyond.

Our ambition for all our pupils is to make good progress and achieve good attainment across all subject areas.  We want our pupils to take pride in who they are and what they achieve.  We strive to develop the whole child, developing self-esteem, aspiration as well as academic achievement in a safe, supportive and exciting learning environment.  We have a strong ethos of inclusivity recognising that every child is unique but plays a vital part in shaping our community; one where everyone is valued and listened to.
