Wigton Infant School

Covid - 19 and Keeping children safe - 20th April 2022

The management of school to minimise Covid 19 infections and their effect on the children's wellbeing and education continue to be our main priority in school.  The clear message from the local Public Health consultants is to remain cautious as there are still a large number of cases in our area.  Several Cumbrian schools have had to temporarily close in recent weeks due to Covid infections - please help us all to stay safe and follow the the latest official guidance.

Welcome to Wigton Infant School where learning, laughter and love are evident in every aspect of our school and are encompassed in all we do.

Our school is a very inclusive school and is also "Strategically Resourced" for children with Special Needs.

Every child is welcome and valued as an individual.  All children are taught, supported and cared for by a highly skilled, caring and enthusiatic staff who are committed to high quality teaching and learning.  We ensure curriculum is tailored to meet the needs of each child as an individual.

We have a superb, safe, secure indoor and outdoor learning environment, which alongside teaching, enables children to learn in fun, practical, exciting ways and engages their curiosity and natural love of learning .

I hope you enjoy looking at our website and are able find out about all we do.

Please contact us if you would like to know any more information or to make an appointment to look around.

Best Wishes
